DAY 1
Windhoek
We arrive the afternoon in the city of Windhoek; where we take the rest of the day to take in the sights of Windhoek.
We have dinner at a local restaurant. (own expense).
DAY 2
Keetmanshoop - 475km for the day (B+L+D)
We drive south to the small town of Keetmanshoop and take in the sights of this historic old town, renowned for its German architecture.
We also visit a Quiver tree forest just outside the town.
DAY 3
Fish River Canyon -151km (B+L+D)
Today's drive is relatively short, and we visit the magnificent Fish River Canyon, the world’s second largest canyon.
Visiting the canyon is an awesome opportunity for great landscape and sunset photography.
DAY 4
Aus - 400km for the day (B+L+D)
After breakfast, we travel to the town of Aus where we stay the night. We will make time to see if we can find the elusive wild horses in the area.
DAY 5
Aus & Luderitz - 130km for the day (B+L+D)
Today we visit the Ghost town of Kolmanskop in the morning. The Dias Cross in Luderitz is also on our agenda. We return to Aus for relaxation.
DAY 6 & 7
Sesriem - 375km for the day (B+L+D)
Today we make our way to the Namib Desert.
We will view great land marks in this area, like Dead Vlei, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon.
DAY 8 & 9
Swakopmund - 350km for the day (B+L)
We take the road to Swakopmund to view this unique town. Today we will do some activities in the area like riding the dunes on a quad bike and sand boarding (own expense).
We also do two nights of own expense meals for dinner.
DAY 10
Brandberg - 288km for the day (B+L+D)
Today we go and see the seals at Cape Cross. Afterwards we make our way to the highest mountain in Namibia and view some unique Bushmen paintings, including the world famous "White Lady" of Brandberg.
We spend the night at a lodge close to the foot of the Brandberg Mountain.
DAY 11 & 12
Etosha National Park - 375km for the day (B+L+D)
Leaving the mountains behind, we make our way to one of the greatest game parks in the world.
We will spend one full day game driving in the Etosha National Park.
